Evaluation Software
There are two evaluation programs on this page.
1 . The new CrimeSoft Advanced 9 which requires either Windows XP or
Vista.
CrimeSoft Advanced is truly a cutting edge program.
2 . The popular CrimeSoft 5 program which has been in service for 3
years and was designed for use in departments that deploy mixed or older
operating systems such as Windows 95,98,ME,2000 or even XP Home or Pro.

The new CrimeSoft Advanced 9 evaluation program is a full working copy
of the CrimeSoft Advanced 9.2 program that will allow you to operate
the program in single user mode for 30 days.
(note: Version 9.3 has just been released and is not yet available
as an evaluation copy, you can however view a 12 minute video showing

The file 'SetupRTeval.exe' is self extracting and compressed . After
downloading the software simply double click on the 'SetupRTeval.exe'
file and the CrimeSoft Advanced program will install on your hard drive,
in addition the files listed below will be installed on
your desktop.
1. Operators Manual.pdf - This file is the Adobe
Acrobat version of the operators manual. To read the manual you must
have Adobe Acrobat reader on your computer. It
is a good idea to read over this before using the CrimeSoft program.
2. QuickTime 7 folder- This file is placed on
your desktop and contains the 'Itunessetup.exe' file. Installing this
program will enable CrimeSoft Advanced to view movies complete with
stereo sound.
Minimum hardware requirements are a Pentium or equivalent microprocessor
with 256 Mb RAM. Operating system requirements are Windows XP Professional,
or Home Edition w/ service pack 2 -or- Windows Vista Ultimate, Business,
or Home
Click on the 'Download File' icon below to begin downloading the 30
day evaluation or the CrimeSoft Advanced program. The file size
is approx. 90 Mb. and requires 10 to 15 minutes to download using a
DSL or Cable high speed internet connection.

The file 'Crimesoft.zip' is self extracting and compressed with the
easy, familiar "ZIP" installer. After downloading the software
simply double click on the 'Crimesoft.zip' file and the program will
decompress into the four files listed below.
1. Setup.exe - this is the CrimeSoft 5 30 day
evaluation program. To install simply double click and the file will
self install using a familiar wizard style interface.
2. Manual.pdf - This file is the Adobe Acrobat
version of the operators manual. To read the manual you must have Adobe
Acrobat reader on your computer.
3. Ar32e301.exe - This is the Adobe Acrobat reader
file. Install this file only if you do not already have the reader installed
on your computer.
4. Read me - This file contains information to
assist in the installation and running of the program. Be
sure and read this file first!
Minimum hardware requirements are a Pentium or equivalent microprocessor
with 32 Mb RAM and a video card capable of displaying 32,768 or more
colors.
